The Pegasus Project was designed to support Year 6 children to transition to secondary school and focus on building friendship, resilience, co-operation, improving confidence and having fun.  

The programme is in its 6th year and we have based activities around an award called Pegasus that stretches children to learn 3 new skills, explore the

environment in 3 different ways,

achieve 3 new healthy living skills and volunteer over 10 hours in the local community.  The programme is based mostly outdoors using forest school activities to achieve the projects aims

and at the same time improve

children’s mental wellbeing.
